TRANSPORT (2014)

LATA`s third EP is an accident. It presents two versions never intended for release, written exclusively for live shows during the “MAO!” european tour last year, usually at uncomfortable places like airports or trains.

“My approach to livesets is very organic, relying heavily on improvisation. When on tour, I usually write/rewrite stuff before a show and only play it once to avoid boredom. After shows I save the changes to capture the best bits and then delete the rest. In my transport bar, the PLAY and REC buttons are the same.”

“Recently, a studio software upgrade forced me to revisit those lost bits, bringing back happy memories from the road. It also brought closure to the MAO! era of my music, as I was already far into production of my next album due later this year”.
