November 25th is the celebration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and is also the chosen date by chilean band WATA (Washington Miranda & Lata) to release their long-awaited debut on MAO Music.

The song Bum Bum Bum deserves a biography of it´s own. Composed years ago it has been floating around the global electronic underground until now. Always ahead of it´s time, Washington´s witty hook addressed gender inequality issues a decade before it´s current global awareness.

To illustrate the point, a videoclip was shot featuring actress Macarena Berthelon as a vintage housewife on a quest for social justice, viciously targeting patriarchy.
